Heroic Development & Supergreen

Two years of industry SaaS design — real products, real users, shipped features

2+Years professional experience
6+SaaS products shipped
3Roles across two companies
Investor-ready prototypes delivered

Overview

Before finishing my degree at Northwest University, I started working in industry. What followed was two years of shipping real features for real users — moving between Heroic Development and Supergreen, working across a range of SaaS products from board management platforms to multi-product design systems.

This page covers the work I can describe without NDA restrictions. Screenshots and prototypes are available on request for roles that match the work.

Supergreen
UX / Product Designer
2025 – 2026

At Supergreen I designed across multiple SaaS products simultaneously, working inside a shared design system that spanned web and mobile. The pace was fast — weekly review cycles, rapid iteration, and close collaboration with developers to make sure nothing got lost in the handoff.

My work here covered the full design range: feature specs written before wireframing, component-level UI work inside the design system, responsive layouts for web and mobile, and light/dark mode across every surface.

  • Designed high-fidelity interfaces across multiple SaaS products using a shared component library
  • Wrote feature specs before opening Figma — defined scope and edge cases up front
  • Operated in weekly review cycles with direct developer collaboration
  • Built and maintained components in the shared design system including light/dark mode variants
  • Contributed to responsive web and mobile layouts across the product suite
  • Managed multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping quality on any of them

Heroic Development
UX Designer
2024 – 2025

At Heroic Development I led design on a board management SaaS platform — a complex product used by organizations to run structured board meetings, manage documents, and track members and responsibilities. I owned six or more core features from discovery through developer handoff.

This is also where I did my capstone project — the Retirement Budget Calculator Onboarding redesign for Parker Financial, one of Heroic's clients. That project went from research to investor-ready prototype inside a single semester and was used directly in stakeholder presentations.

  • Led design on 6+ core features: dashboard, meeting manager, document editor, member manager, authentication flows
  • Conducted competitive analysis across board management platforms to inform feature decisions
  • Designed responsive web and mobile interfaces across the full product
  • Built prototypes used in investor and stakeholder presentations
  • Collaborated directly with the development team to maintain design quality through build
  • Delivered the Parker Financial onboarding redesign as a capstone — cut time-to-first-value from 8+ minutes to under 3.5 minutes

Heroic Development
UX Design Intern
Summer 2023

My first professional design role. I contributed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes supporting the product planning process at Heroic Development. Several of the flows I designed as an intern became part of the core product and were iterated on in my later full-time role.

  • Developed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes for product planning sessions
  • Contributed flows that were integrated into the core product build
  • Learned to work inside an existing design system and extend it without breaking consistency

Other design work

Orbit Aerospace — Brand Book

A branding project for Orbit Aerospace, a fictional aerospace company. I designed a full brand book covering logo system, typography, color palette, iconography, and brand application guidelines. This was an academic project exploring brand identity design outside of UX — applying the same systematic thinking to visual identity.

Orbit Aerospace brand book iconography — Section 9
  • Designed a complete logo system with primary, secondary, and icon mark variants
  • Built a full brand book covering all usage guidelines across print and digital
  • Section 9 (Iconography) — developed a custom icon set consistent with the brand's aerospace identity
  • Orange + blue color palette conveying precision, technology, and exploration
